Pensinger Financial prides itself on our full fee transparency pricing. Our straightforward pricing structure for our services and our portfolio management comes with no hidden fees or any commissions whatsoever. Our fee-only set up allows us to tell you what a service costs before you decide to hire us. More complex services are taken on a case by case scenario, but you will know the price before we begin. We are thrilled that our clients know down to the penny how much they pay for our services. And so can you…
ongoing Investment account Management
Some of our clients hire us for hourly financial planning services, but others engage with us for continued management and monitoring of their investments. This can include your 401(k) or 403(b) after you left your job and/or your current IRAs and retail accounts. We’re the first to say it’s cheaper do this on your own; just like it’s cheaper to change your own oil and to fill your own cavities. But at some point life gets in the way and you don’t want to do it on your own anymore, you don’t have the time or maybe you don’t have the knowledge. So like changing your own oil, you could do it yourself, but you’ve got better things to do with your time so you pay your trusted mechanic to do it for you. We’re your financial mechanic; our direct investment management set up is perfect for those people who don’t want to manage their portfolios on their own.
Our clients hire us to do their ongoing investment account management for three reasons: 1) they want professional management of their money; 2) they want skilled investors to choose the best investments for them; and 3) they want a trusted advisory firm to take the worry out of investing. If this is what you need, then please consider hiring us for ongoing management of your assets.
We also keep your costs very low because we use low cost investments provided by Dimensional Fund Advisors and
Vanguard. The less you pay in fees the more money you keep. We are also a special firm because we give our clients our Full Fee Transparency Summary at the end of each year. Our FFTS specifically itemizes down to the penny how much our clients paid and where it went. It looks exactly like this…
Comprehensive Financial Plan
We believe a comprehensive financial plan is needed for every individual, couple or family because it serves as a road map to guide you through the financial journey of you and your loved ones. Your comprehensive financial plan will serve as an instruction manual for budgeting your income & expenses, paying your costly bad debt down to zero while understanding and reaping the benefits of your good debt, establishing an emergency fund, saving for your kids’ college expenses and ensuring you have a safe, secure and comfortable retirement.
Pre-Retirement Analysis Report
Are you approaching retirement? More importantly, are you just approaching retirement in age alone or are you financially prepared to commit to retirement knowing that you won’t have to reluctantly go back to work? A pre-retirement analysis report is great for an individual or a couple within a few years of retirement. This plan will incorporate your essential and discretionary living expenses against your current and post-retirement income (like social security, pension, annuity, and taxable and non-taxable investment income) and determine if you can continue living your current lifestyle throughout retirement. This report will also show you how taking social security early, at full retirement age, or delaying it will affect your payments. You will also get a snapshot of your current investments and the amount of growth that is needed for them to outpace inflation and offset the higher medical costs of your retirement years. The very in-depth look of a pre-retirement analysis report into your financial position will give you the confidence to determine if you are ready to retire.
401(k), 403(b), or IRA review
Employer retirement plans and individual retirement accounts are the backbone of your safe, secure and comfortable retirement. You might be scanning over pages and pages of plan documents and thinking where and how do I get started, do I choose Traditional or Roth, what are the best investments for me, how do I choose the right mix of stock and bond exposure, how much is this costing me, do I invest in large-cap growth stocks or should I put my money in emerging markets, what happens when I leave and how does the vesting schedule affect me? There are a lot of very important questions to ask when contributing to a retirement plan, fortunately we can make it really simple for you to understand and to ensure that you make the best possible decisions. Sadly making a wrong step in your 20s can have a huge financial impact on you come retirement time. A few bucks spent on a retirement plan and account review from Pensinger Financial is well worth the tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars you could be missing out on in retirement by making the wrong decisions now.
College Savings Plan
We’ve all seen how the cost of college has skyrocketed over the last 20 years; it’s getting to the point where a lot of middle-class parents are seriously worrying how they will afford to educate their children past high school. A college savings plan might be that answer. College savings plans offer tax-advantaged savings for higher education expenses and are a great investment vehicle to help offset or even completely eliminate the high costs of a higher education.
Hourly Financial Planning Services
What we do doesn’t always fall into a bucket like our specific services listed above. When that happens we charge $200 per hour. When we handle more complex or more out of the box situations we give you a written estimate before we begin, so you can be comfortable knowing there won’t be any surprises.
